Job Description
This position is only open to candidates currently pursuing their associate's degree from a community college or trade school. Those currently pursuing their bachelor's degree or higher will not be considered for this role.
Early Career Apprentice Program
Want to work in your field and train on the job? Join our 12–24-month apprentice program! You will earn and learn on the job, receive career guidance and mentorship, all while attending school.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside Senior Security Engineers/Architects, and assist in operational and project duties
- Learn and become familiar with strategies for effective communication and successful interaction with peers
- Perform tasks in support of regulatory, contract, and industry requirements for cybersecurity governance, including conducting user access reviews
- Perform regular audits to ensure that user access rights are appropriate and necessary
- Obtain user access level reports and format them for import into access recertification platforms
- Create, format, review, and analyze Excel workbooks to complete various access recertification tasks
- Create SharePoint lists from Excel worksheets and apply workflows to enable manager access reviews
- Communicate with access reviewers, auditors, system analysts, and other stakeholders to complete access recertification campaigns and answer related questions
- Update user access to match access recertification responses
- Research user access permissions, access requests, and provisioning process details to complete various tasks
- Develop and maintain documentation related to IAM processes, policies, and controls
- Contribute to other tasks in support of ongoing Identity and Access Management, IAM Governance, and IT Security Risk Reduction processes
Education
In pursuit of Associate's degree/program in the following fields: Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or similar.
Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is between $18 and $25 an hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
