We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Cybersecurity Defense Operations Analyst to enhance our Cybersecurity Operations Center and advance our mission. This position is well-suited for a cybersecurity professional who can conduct advanced alert monitoring, effectively respond to complex security alerts, and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Partner directly with the Digital Forensics Incident Response team
• Utilize a comprehensive tool stack
• Work alongside key partner teams to advance essential CSOC initiatives
• Document and log cyber defense incidents from initial detection through final resolution or escalation
• Ensure information is appropriately catalogued, analyzed, and reported on for root-cause analysis identification

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of experience in a security operations center or similar environment
• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM and EDR
• Demonstrated expertise in responding to security alerts
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Preferred qualifications include a related security certification and a Bachelor's degree in a technology-related concentration.

Work Arrangements

• Remote work arrangement with occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings
• Must have a dedicated space with high-speed internet (minimum 25x10 Mbps) for a home office
• Satellite and wireless internet service is not allowed for this role

Compensation and Benefits

• Scheduled weekly hours: 40
• Pay range: $97,900 - $133,500 per year
• Eligible for a bonus incentive plan
