Job Description

Kentro is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Risk Advisor to provide strategic advisory support to the Agency’s CSRM Program. This role delivers expert-level guidance to the CSRM Program Team, CISO, and Agency executives to support program maturation, alignment with evolving federal guidance, and enterprise risk management coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Review CSRM Program deliverables, including:
  • Cyber risk management strategy
  • Concept of Operations (ConOps)
  • Program plans and governance documentation
  • Provide expert recommendations to support continued CSRM program maturation
  • Respond to advisory requests from the CSRM Program Team, the CISO, and Agency executives
  • Identify and interpret cybersecurity risk management best practices, frameworks, and guidance, including:
  • NIST publications
  • FISMA updates
  • Other federal cybersecurity policies
  • Advise on coordination of Agency-level cybersecurity risk management efforts across programs and stakeholders

  • Location: Hybrid in Woodlawn, MD
  • Salary Range: $155,000-165,000/annually
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s and 10 years of experience
  • Deep expertise in cybersecurity risk management and governance
  • Experience advising senior leadership and executives
  • Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks and policies
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting federal CSRM or enterprise risk management programs
  • Familiarity with SSA or similar large federal agency environments
  • Clearance Requirement:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen
