We currently have remote adjunct opportunities available in all US States, with the exception of California. We are looking for online adjunct faculty within our Undergraduate Cybersecurity program for Global Campus.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Engage students in an asynchronous and inclusive learning environment by providing guidance and resources in a pre-developed online course
  • Support students by providing instruction, feedback, and experiential and application-based learning that helps our students achieve their learning and career goals
  • Report to the faculty dean team

What You'll Do

  • Prioritize Student Engagement – Work with students by responding within set timeframes and reaching out proactively to students needing additional support
  • Share Expertise and Resources – Stay current in your field of expertise, share your experience, and recommend relevant supplementary materials to enhance student understanding of course content
  • Offer Feedback & Assessment – Evaluate student work and provide individualized, constructive feedback within set timeframes to promote growth and mastery of course outcomes
  • Facilitate Discussions – Encourage student interaction through active participation in online discussions while fostering an inclusive, engaging, and respectful environment that promotes open dialogue and diverse perspectives

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity or a related field
  • 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Required Certifications: You must hold at least one active information security certification from the following list:
  • CompTIA: Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CAP
  • (ISC)²: CISSP, CCSP, CAP
  • EC-Council: CEH, CND, CNDA, CCISO
  • GIAC (SANS Institute): GSLC, GCIA
  • Cisco: SCYBER
  • In addition, you must also hold at least one active technical certification such as:
  • CompTIA: Network+ CE
  • Cisco: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE

Compensation and Benefits

  • The standard compensation for courses is $2,200 per 8-week undergraduate course and $2,500 per 10-week graduate course
