ECS is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity DevOPs and Kubernetes Engineer to work remotely.

Job Overview

The Senior Cybersecurity DevOps and Kubernetes Engineer is driven to solve complex business and data problems by developing and maintaining a Kubernetes based application environment that is configured through code. Using Data and AI, this Engineer will be responsible for developing a rapidly deployable Kubernetes architecture that is configured through code.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Kubernetes based application environment
• Scripted deployments of Kubernetes clusters
• Maintain automation that allows code update through a DevSecOps pipeline

Requirements

• Base knowledge of common technologies used for DevSecOps
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and associated tools
• Experience deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
• Knowledge of Git, Helm, and Istio
• Knowledge of cloud native technologies and cloud providers
• Experience with a cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant industry work experience in DevOps
• Experience in detailed technical requirements gathering, interpretation, analysis, and validation
• Knowledgeable in at least one of the following scripting languages: Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript
• Experience using version control systems such as Git
• Kubernetes install, configuration, and management
• Helm chart creation and installation
• Git experience
