Client: Utilities Company Position: Network & Systems Security Analyst Term: 1 year Contract - May 2026 - April 2027 Pay: $58/Hr - 60/Hr Location: Tampa, FL Work Authorization: USC or GC ONLY Required Certification: Has obtained at least one associate and one senior level certification:

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• GIAC Certifications
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent IT discipline (MIS). Certifications Preferred: CCNA, VCP, CISSP, or MCSA

Experience

6 years of related hands-on experience implementing and maintaining Windows servers, VMware, firewall support, Storage Area Networks, Cisco Networking or SolarWinds ITSM (IT Service Management) product experience which is a cloud-based IT service management platform designed to help organizations manage IT (and other departmental) services more efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement network, server, and storage infrastructure based on project requirements, capacity plans, and system support.
• Problem solving involves basic troubleshooting following the OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) model, making or calling for equipment repairs, and problem escalation.
• Monitors, troubleshoots, diagnoses, and remedies server and network related problems and failures.
• Installs and configures server and network related hardware/software which meet the company’s security standards.
