About the Role

10x.team connects expert freelancers with leading AI labs building next-generation models. We are looking for knowledgeable cybersecurity specialists and CISOs based in the EU or UK to enhance the accuracy, depth, and real-world relevance of AI-powered security systems.

What You Will Do

• Review and refine AI-generated outputs related to cybersecurity, risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and practical aspects of protecting digital assets
• Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, practicality, and compliance with real-world security requirements
• Draft realistic cybersecurity scenarios based on your direct professional experience
• Create scenario variations from different perspectives (e.g. cybersecurity specialist, client, IT leader, or regulator)
• Identify gaps, oversights, or weak reasoning in AI-generated security content

In simple terms: You will assess and improve AI-generated content, ensuring it reflects true cybersecurity reasoning, authentic documentation, and practical procedures. Rather than conducting traditional cybersecurity projects, you’ll apply your expertise to help AI systems understand and reason about cybersecurity at scale.

Who You Are

• A senior-level cybersecurity specialist or CISO with significant professional experience within the EU or UK
• Experienced in advising on, preparing, and executing cybersecurity solutions and strategies
• Skilled at evaluating security documentation, solutions, and compliance
• Comfortable working independently and providing structured, critical feedback
• Available for 8–20 hours per week, with prompt availability
